Rural Sports in Kaukapakapa
Locals Pat & Pandy Fruean are the organisers for local sports club - Rural Sports. Since 2008 they have been running Touch Rugby on Friday nights at Sinclair Park and since 2010 a FitKidz programme, based on their athletics coaching background. Rural Sports aim to offer local competitions and activities at country prices and are always looking for new locals to join any of their sport competitions.

Dance Class:
We’ve teamed up with Dance Dimensions and are pleased to announce we have our first dance class (hiphop/street funk/jazz infusion) starting on 8 August.
Every Monday at 3.00pm in Waitoki School Hall, $4.50 per student per class.

Tennis:
As soon as the new courts are completed at Sinclair Park we will revive the Tennis Club and start a weekly social twilight competition.

Rural Sports' aim is to utilise Sinclair Park's facilities to get more of the local community into organised sports and activities and encourage Auckland Council to further upgrade Sinclair Park with playgrounds, clubrooms, fitness trail etc. so that it can be the hub of the community.
